    Hello Dawson,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

If you're referring to this Surface as a Laptop, I think you're referring to the Surface Laptop Stuido 1, not the Surface Studio 1, which are two completely different models.

    This is Surface Laptop Studio:

And this is Surface Studio 1:

We understand that you have unfortunately forgotten the Pin code, and the facial recognition feature of Windows Hello is not available at this time, so what other prompt do you see on the login page?

    • Can you see "I forgot my PIN"?
    • Can you see "Sigh-in options"?

If you can see these options, you can also use them to reset the Pin, as prompted, or log in to the system using other means (e.g. fingerprint identification, account password) and reset the Pin.

If you are prompted to forget your current Microsoft account password, you can also try to reset your Microsoft account password on the web side:

However, if you don't see these options, it means you can't log in and access the system at this point. The only thing to do is create a Surface-specific recovery drive and use it to restore your Surface to factory Settings:

This step is different from resetting the Surface, because resetting the Surface still requires you to verify your account, but you currently forget your Pin.

You will need to create a Surface-specific recovery drive on another computer.
