Can Microsoft edge be installed on school chromebook without linux

I have a school Chromebook and i am going nuts about why they don't let you use Microsoft edge or other browsers.

Does anyone have information?

This forum is dedicated to providing feedback on this Microsoft Community web site. You should have asked in the Edge forum.

I'd like to get Edge on my Chromebook as well and it will install on my Android phone but it won't on my Chromebook. The Play Store prevents it. I'm not sure why. There may be workarounds you could employ but the Chromebook is not yours and I daresay the school would frown on you trying to modify their equipment unsanctioned.

    aw darn it! I was so enthusiastic of trying to get it on my Chromebook that's blocked

    if you want to have Edge as your browser go to

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge?ep=313&form=MA13M0&es=40 This will let you install Microsoft

    and also by the way you can just install Windows 10 since the iso is supported

    go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO if your device doesn't let you install any of these sites please go to https://www.microsoft.com/help
