Unable to find Collaborative Notes in Teams mobile app

I’m using Collaborative Notes in a Microsoft Teams group chat, as described in this Microsoft support article:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/use-collaborative-notes-in-microsoft-teams-chats-6f19dd1f-b37a-47a2-9795-bb5deb4d0f58

On desktop, I can access and work with the Collaborative Notes in the group chat, but on the Teams mobile app I cannot find where those notes are located or how to open them again.

Could you please clarify:

Where are Collaborative Notes stored or accessed from in a Teams group chat on mobile?

Are Collaborative Notes fully supported in the Teams mobile app?

Is there a specific tab, file location, Loop component, OneNote page, or other place where I should look for them?

Are there any known limitations between Teams desktop and Teams mobile for Collaborative Notes?

I’m trying to make sure my team can access the same notes from both desktop and mobile.

Hi @jose david patarroyo,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you for contacting us. I would like to provide you with the following information:

Regarding the Collaborative Notes in Microsoft Teams chats feature, it is currently only supported on the desktop and web versions, and is not supported on the mobile version.

If you only add content directly into the note, it will not appear in Loop.

Instead, you need to integrate the content into Loop. Once you do so, the content will be synchronized and available in the Loop app (including on mobile devices).

To integrate the content into Loop, you can do the following:

Press Ctrl + A (to select all content) > Click on the “⋮ ⋮” menu > Select “Create Loop component”

After completing this step, a Loop file will be created automatically.

Once the file is created successfully, you can click on the Loop title to open it.

This file will appear both on Loop web and Loop mobile.

When you add or remove any content in this section, the Loop file will be updated and synchronized in real time.

You can also change the title of the Loop based on your desired content, and the Loop in Teams will be updated accordingly as well.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this.

Thank you for your patience and your understanding. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments on this post so I can continue to support you.

I look forward to continuing the conversation.
