Outlook.com not receiving emails or calendar invitations from Gmail users

Hello,

I am having an issue with my Outlook.com account not receiving emails or calendar invitations from Gmail users.

The messages are not arriving in my Inbox, Junk Email, Deleted Items, Archive, Clutter/Other, or any other folder. They also do not appear to be bouncing back to the Gmail senders. From the sender’s side, the messages look like they were sent successfully, but they never arrive in my Outlook.com mailbox.

This appears to affect both regular Gmail emails and Google Calendar invitations sent from Gmail accounts.

I have already checked the following:

Junk Email folder

Deleted Items and Archive

Focused/other inbox

Rules and filters

Blocked senders list

Storage/quota status

Email forwarding settings

Safe senders list

None of these seem to explain the issue.

Could Microsoft Support please advise whether there is a known Outlook.com delivery issue affecting messages from Gmail or Google Calendar? Also, is there a way to check whether these messages are being rejected, silently filtered, or blocked before they reach my mailbox?

This is causing missed emails and calendar invitations, so I would appreciate guidance on how to escalate or diagnose the issue beyond the usual Junk/Rules/Blocked Sender checks.

Thank you.

    Hello Doug,

I understand that your Outlook.com mailbox is not receiving Gmail messages or Google Calendar invitations, even though the senders do not receive any bounce-back message. Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors here cannot check your mailbox delivery logs or confirm whether messages are being rejected before reaching your mailbox.

Since you have already checked Junk Email, Deleted Items, Archive, Focused/Other inbox, rules, blocked senders, storage, forwarding, and safe senders, this may need to be reviewed by Outlook.com Support directly.

You can also check and follow this Microsoft Support page for any listed known issue or workaround related to Outlook.com: Fixes or workarounds for recent issues on Outlook.com | Microsoft Support

    To contact Outlook.com Support:

    1. Go to Outlook.com and sign in.
    2. Click the Help icon (question mark) in the top right corner.
    3. In the Help pane that opens, type a brief description of your issue (e.g., "cannot receive emails"), then press Enter.
    4. Scroll down the page until you see "Still need help?", click Yes.
    5. Select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser."
    6. Review the description of your issue and confirm your email address (ensure it's an email you can access).
    7. Click Confirm to create the service request and then Start chat to connect with an agent.
    8. The screen will indicate that your request has been submitted and the system is connecting you to Outlook.com live chat support, which may take a moment to load.
    9. In the support request, include the sender domain, approximate sent time, whether a Google Calendar invitation was involved, and whether the sender received any bounce-back message. Please do not post full email addresses publicly in this thread.

    I hope this helps.
