Additional features, tools, or issues not covered by specific Microsoft Advertising categories
Hello 大輔 関根,
Thank you for using our Microsoft Advertising Learn Q&A Platform!
I hope the response provided here can address your questions regarding the name changes you are inquiring about.
For Audience Ads (including those featured on MSN), the advertiser name shown to users is tied to your Advertiser Identity Verification (AIV) status:
- If you have not completed AIV: The displayed advertiser name comes from the Business Name in your Microsoft Advertising account settings.
- If you have completed AIV: The displayed advertiser name comes from the business name you verified during AIV, and not simply what’s in Account Settings.
If your account is already verified and you want to change the public-facing advertiser name from your legal company name to a brand name, you must update your legal business name in Account Settings and re‑complete the AIV process with documentation that matches the new name. Simply editing the “Business Name” field in Account Settings will not change the displayed name for verified advertisers. Please review the help sources below for details and steps.
