Hello,

I am experiencing an unexpected issue with my Visual Studio Marketplace publisher and VS Code extension.

Publisher ID: numa-forge

Extension ID: numa-forge.sftp-enhanced

Extension name: SFTP Enhanced

The latest extension update was successfully published, and I received the confirmation email from the Visual Studio Marketplace.

Shortly afterwards:

  • VS Code started displaying: “This extension is no longer available on the Extension Marketplace.”
  • the public extension page became unavailable;
  • the public publisher page became unavailable;
  • I became unable to access the Manage Publishers & Extensions portal.

The Marketplace portal returns HTTP 429:

Request was blocked due to exceeding usage of resource 'Concurrency'

in namespace 'VSID'.

Exception:

Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Framework.Server.RequestBlockedException

Event ID: 3000

Browser request details:

Timestamp: 13/07/2026 14:02:42 UTC

Request ID: 588ec864-44e7-4131-bb7e-17ca52d750ff

The VSCE CLI returns the same VSID Concurrency error.

The issue occurs from:

  • different browsers;
  • different devices;
  • my home connection;
  • a mobile data connection with a different IP address.

I did not unpublish or remove the extension, and I have not received any suspension, policy violation, security warning or removal notification.

Please investigate whether:

  1. my Microsoft/Azure DevOps identity has been restricted or rate-limited;
  2. publisher “numa-forge” has been suspended or disabled;
  3. extension “numa-forge.sftp-enhanced” has been removed or unpublished by Microsoft;
  4. the publisher and extension can be restored.

Please contact me privately if account-specific information is required.

Hello @Gaetano Scotellaro ,

Thanks for your question.

Has your identity been restricted?

The HTTP 429 error confirms that the system has temporarily rate-limited your Visual Studio Identity (VSID).

Has the publisher or extension been suspended, disabled, or removed?

While we need to investigate your specific account to be absolutely certain, this specific error code usually means your assets are temporarily hidden by the automated rate limit, not permanently deleted or manually removed.

Can they be restored?

Yes. If this is strictly a concurrency block, clearing the lock from your identity will typically restore public access to your publisher page and the "SFTP Enhanced" extension automatically.

Since verifying and clearing the lock requires investigation of your account, this appears to be a support request for which I recommend contacting marketplace engineer team by vsmarketplace@microsoft.com.

I hope this addresses your question. If this response was helpful, please consider following the guidance to provide feedback. Thank you.
