Hello Microsoft Advertising team,

I am requesting a human review of our manager account suspension, with context the appeal form could not capture.

Account: BN Self Publishing LLC — manager account 2549*****; first-appeal reference J107*****; verified AIV account G107***** (full numbers available via private message).

Timeline:

Jul 11, 2026 — account created (our first-ever Microsoft Advertising account)

Jul 11–13 — campaigns set up; Microsoft's first charge attempt was accidentally declined by our bank's tap-to-approve verification prompt (a cardholder mistake on our own card — not unauthorized use, not a refusal to pay); account suspended

Jul 13 — Advertiser Identity Verification completed and confirmed by Microsoft ("Your advertiser identity is verified")

Jul 14 — first appeal submitted; upheld the same day as "egregious violations"

The access problem: the rejection email says we may re-submit an appeal, but the link leads to ads.microsoft.com/Login/Blocked — sign-in is blocked, so there is no appeal channel inside the account. We have submitted the Digital Safety reinstatement form.

Who we are: a Texas LLC operating one brand and one website (houstonbookpublisher.com) — author services such as editing, cover design, formatting, publishing setup, and book marketing. One US-based user. We have never operated any other Microsoft Advertising account, have no prior enforcement history, and have made no attempt to circumvent enforcement — no new accounts, no alternate identities — and we will not.

What we changed since the first appeal: we completed a full compliance audit against Microsoft Advertising policies and corrected our live website on Jul 15: removed every guarantee-style and outcome claim (30+ rewrites across 20 pages), added a site-wide disclaimer that we are an independent provider not affiliated with Amazon, Kindle, Audible, Apple, Google, Kobo, Spotify, Barnes & Noble, Waterstones, or IngramSpark, added explicit consent language and privacy disclosures to all lead forms, and aligned all service descriptions with our published Refunds and Guarantees policies. Before/after documentation, business registration, and bank records of the declined charge are available on request.

We understand specific suspension details cannot be disclosed and we are not asking for them — only for the case to be re-examined by a human reviewer with this context. If anything in the account remains out of policy, please tell us what it is and we will correct it immediately. Happy to provide any documentation via private message.

Thank you.Screenshot 2026-07-15 061633.png

    Hello Houston Book Publishers,

Thank you for using our Microsoft Advertising Learn Q&A Platform!

I understand from your message that your newly created account has just been suspended. Generally, there could be a number of reasons why our system would suspend an account. For security reasons, we are unable to provide exact details on why an account has been suspended, but I've compiled a list below of the most common areas where accounts may be out of compliance with our advertising policies. Please see a list of important policies below to ensure you are following them.

Microsoft Advertising is committed to a safe online environment. Egregious violations of our terms or policies warrant the immediate suspension of the advertiser's account. We consider egregious those violations that involve illegal content or activity, pose a threat to user safety or security, or degrade or impair the security of the services provided by Microsoft or its partners. These violations often indicate intent to use our service in a fraudulent, harmful, or illegal manner. If we detect an egregious violation, we will suspend the advertiser's access to the service, including access to all information contained therein, immediately and without prior warning. You can learn more here: Understanding Egregious Violation Suspensions

Since you've successfully completed the Advertiser Identity Verification (AIV), we may be able to raise an escalation for a manual review of your account.

Our support teams are happy to discuss your account in more detail via phone, chat or email to provide review assistance, please see our support page to reach out!

I hope the information provided here will at least partly answer your question.  If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to reach out to our support. I have also sent you a private message asking for further details. You are more than welcome to respond to me so that I can begin the investigation on my end.

    Kind regards,
