There are a couple of accounts from a few years ago when I was in college that are still on the Teams app and I can't seem to get rid of them. Please help me delete these accounts from the app. Thank you

    Hi @E C

Thank you for posting your question to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Regarding that you can't delete account that you no longer have access on the team app. I'd like to gather a bit more information to better understand.

    • Are these old college accounts still listed on the Teams sign-in screen, or are they appearing after you've already signed in?
    • Which version of Teams are you using: the new Teams desktop app, classic Teams, Teams on the web, or the mobile app?
    • Which operating system are you using: Windows or macOS?
    • Have you already tried signing out of the old accounts or removing them from your device's account settings?
    • Do you receive any error message when attempting to remove the accounts?
    • If possible, please share a screenshot of what you're seeing (with any personal information hidden).

This information will help narrow down whether the accounts are being stored by Teams itself, account settings, or cached credentials.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. I look forward to your update.
