Hello, good day and thanks for your question. Sorry to know about this and I understand that you have encountered an issue with Microsoft Edge.
For this, please move Microsoft Edge from Applications going to Trash and then go to Finder Go to Folder and remove any Microsoft Edge folders in ~/Library/Application Support/ and ~/Library/Caches/.
After doing the above, restart your device and then download Edge again and then drag it to Applications and then right click it and launch it to bypass Gatekeeper and see how it goes afterwards.
