The free Microsoft Teams trial is a scam. Every time I go to cancel there is no where to cancel. If you type cancel in help it gives you a million other articles. When you finally find cancel free trial is says discontinue recurring billing. Of course there is no where to do this in Teams. Microsoft is bait and switch. They want you to sign up under the lie of free trial and then make it impossible or near impossible to cancel. They are clearly being a dishonest company.

    Hi Matt

If it's a Microsoft 365/Teams business trial, try going to Microsoft 365 Admin Center> Billing > Your products, select the subscription, and look for Cancel subscription or the recurring billing settings.

If you've already checked there and still don't see a Cancel subscription option or recurring billing settings, I'd recommend contacting Microsoft Support directly. Subscription and billing information is specific to your tenant, and forum members don't have access to those details to investigate why the cancellation option is unavailable.

To summit support ticket to Microsooft support team, youi can go to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Select the Help & support (headset) icon. If Support Assistant is enabled, turn it off > Type contact support in the search box > Select Contact support, then choose Phone or Email to submit your request.

For further instructions, you can follow this guide: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn.

    I hope this information helps.
