The “EasyAntiCheat_EOSSys unloaded successfully” entry does not necessarily mean EAC caused the crash; it can simply be logged when the EAC driver unloads.
Since EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe closes immediately, I would reinstall EAC manually. Open Steam > ELDEN RING > Manage > Browse local files > Game > EasyAntiCheat, open settings.json and copy the “productid”. Then open Command Prompt as Administrator in that folder and run:
EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe uninstall YOUR-PRODUCT-ID
EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe install YOUR-PRODUCT-ID
This command-line installation method is supported by Easy Anti-Cheat/Epic.
Restart the PC, then in Steam use Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files.
If it still crashes after about an hour, perform a Windows clean boot to rule out antivirus, overlays, RGB/monitoring utilities or another background service conflicting with EAC:
If it still happens, check Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application at the exact crash time and post the “Faulting application name” and “Faulting module name”. That entry will be much more useful than the EAC “unloaded successfully” message. Easy Anti-Cheat support is also available at
