I cannot send images in my teams chat.

• Are you using Teams on Windows, macOS, mobile, or a web browser?
• Does this happen in every chat, or only with a specific person or group?
• Can you send regular text messages and other file types successfully?
• Does the same image upload successfully through Teams on the web or another device?
• What is the image’s file type and approximate size?
• When did the issue start, and do you see any error message?

In the meantime, kindly try these steps:

1> Clear Teams cache

2> Try Teams on the web

Go to https://teams.microsoft.com

Send the same image in a chat.

If it works in web but not desktop, the issue is likely local to the Teams client.

3> Check if other images work

Test with:

• A small PNG/JPG (<1 MB)
• A screenshot pasted directly into chat (Ctrl+V)

See whether upload starts at all.
