I download a executor called xeno from the official website but i’ve heard that many people were saying it’s malware but i still installed it, and then microsoft defender smartscreen on my browser blocked it and i pressed keep and windows warned me that it’s malware but i pressed run anyway, and then malwarebytes has flagged it as a keylogger and virustotal flagged it as a trojan so i created a ticket in the official xeno discord server and they said it’s a false positive even tho many engines detected it as malware. So i deleted it and i heard a person saying the malware was located on the windows boot, and i don’t know if hes saying the truth so i just deleted the executor but i still don’t know if my computer is infected, i tried scanning with malwarebytes and no detections and with eset security also no detections. And i am trying to avoid a factory reset or a reinstall of windows cause i have pretty sensitive information in my computer xeno has 2 official websites that been flagged as malware the websites are “xeno.now” and “xeno.onl” and i’ve also heard some complaints in microsoft Q&A forums that someone got ratted from this and they didn’t tell us where he downloaded it from.

Yes, Xeno is a Remote Access Trojan (RAT) that allows attackers to control infected computers remotely. It is designed to operate on Windows systems and can monitor user activity, including keystrokes. It also can extract sensitive data such as passwords and cookies.
