edge and webview2 have both stopped working

edge and webview2 have both stopped working (as well as any program requiring webview2) reinstall and/or repair stopes at 49% have followed a couple of online tutorials to remove exiting instillation removing files and registry entries but still reinstall only gets to 49% with error code 0xc0000005 any suggestions

    Type regedit in the search on the taskbar to launch Registry.

    Go to:

    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\EdgeUpdate\Clients\

    Right click on {F3017226-FE2A-4295-8BDF-00C3A9A7E4C5} and delete it.

    Go to this link https://developer.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge/webview2?form=MA13LH

    Download and install Webview2. See if that improves.
