Sorry for bad words but after 30 minutes to try to find a workaround , how it is possible that your team are not able

to design a simple ui that allow us to copy a transcription ? Are you serious ? I think that students that just finish

school should be better !!!! Can you speed up a bit and fix it !!!! Do we really need to wait 1 year ????

    Dear @BOILY, Joel [MECFOR-DSG]

I completely understand the frustration. Spending 30 minutes just trying to copy a meeting transcript is exactly the kind of thing that makes people angry, especially when the transcript already exists, and all you want is the text.

As a forum member like you, I'm not part of the Microsoft Teams product team, so I can't directly change the UI or accelerate a fix. However, your feedback is the sort of usability issue that many users find particularly frustrating because it affects day-to-day productivity rather than being an advanced feature request.

In this case, currently, depending on where the transcript is stored, you may have a few alternatives:

1/ Open the meeting recap and look for a Download transcript option.

When the meeting is over, the transcript is immediately available in the meeting event on the calendar. By default, meeting organizers and co-organizers can download it as a .docx or .vtt file.

2/ Since the transcript is saved in OneDrive or SharePoint, meeting organizers can edit and manage a meeting's transcript

The meeting organizers may also be able to give others permission to download a transcript, depending on policies set by your IT admin. For reference: Edit or delete a meeting transcript in Microsoft Teams

Additionally, I encourage you to submit this feedback to the Microsoft Teams product team through Teams > Settings and more (...) > Feedback. Feedback submitted through this channel is reviewed by Microsoft and helps prioritize usability improvements and future enhancements.

I hope the information shared is helpful. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. I'm looking forward to your update.
