I have couple of Azure joined VMs and i can logon remotely using RDP with my Entra ID user as member of RDP users group.
Other users that are also added to RDP users group are unable to login and get an error message "wrong credentials".
I need help please to fix this issue.

This is not helpful, the VM is locally hosted on Hyper-V on-prem, Azure joined with the user email address and his account was added into Remote Desktop users, I can login with my email address normally "i am not added to administrators group and have same permission as of the affected user", only he cannot login and he get a message wrong credentials when trying to connect over RDP, but if he tries to login through console with his email he will authenticate normally.
I gather you meant "Microsoft Entra joined" - not Azure joined.
Because the user can authenticate successfully at the VM console, while another non-admin user can RDP to the same VM, the likely issue is specific to the affected user's RDP/Entra authentication context. I would first verify that the RDP client is using AzureAD\******@domain.com, remove any cached credentials for the VM from Credential Manager on the computer the other user is using, and test again.
Also compare the affected user's Remote Desktop Users membership and effective group membership with yours, rather than just checking the direct membership. On the VM, check the TerminalServices-LocalSessionManager, TerminalServices-RemoteConnectionManager, and AAD/Operational event logs at the exact time of the failed RDP attempt. Those events should help distinguish an actual credential validation failure from an authorization or authentication-provider issue.

I tried already the format AzureAD*******@domain.com but it didn't work as well, i tried many solutions, I created another VM and let the user login with temp local admin and complete the windows setup using work or school account and tried again, RDP fails with wrong credentials, I have an intune policy that adds his account and mine to RDP local users group, i can login remotely but he cannot, this is driving me crazy, I compared the SID for the user when he logs in locally and the one in RDP users group and they match, no events in AAD operation logs related to that user, on Azure i can see his windows sign in log is successfull but he still fails to login using RDP, can I have remote support to work on this issue please, as it also affects other users not just him.
