I’m currently unable to log in to the company account via Microsoft Teams. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

The issue started this morning when several employees reported that they were unable to log in to their company accounts through Microsoft Teams. Initially, around 10–12 employees were affected.

In the afternoon, more employees started experiencing the same issue, with login failures occurring on both desktop and mobile devices. By the evening, I was also unable to log in to my company account.

We have received the error message shown in the attached screenshot.

Could you please help us investigate this issue and advise if there is a way to resolve it? Since the number of affected employees has been increasing throughout the day, we are concerned that this may be a company-wide issue.User's image

    Hi @Nutthapon Reewason

To ensure I fully understand your situation and provide the most effective assistance, I’ll need a few additional details, such as:

Did the issue start after any recent changes (such as a license update, application deployment, or policy modification)?

Are the affected users internal employees, guest users, or external collaborators?

Are the affected users part of any specific security group or department?

Does this behavior also occur when accessing Teams on the web using an InPrivate/Incognito browser session?

In the meantime, I came across a similar case where the issue appeared to be related to network restrictions. As a troubleshooting step, you could try switching from the corporate network to a personal hotspot or another external network, and then attempt to sign in to Microsoft Teams again to see if this helps

This test may help determine whether the issue is related to network restrictions within the corporate environment. Any update would be appreciated.

Because the issue is affecting multiple employees and is now occurring across desktop and mobile, treat this as an organization-level Teams sign-in problem rather than a single-device issue.

    Use this troubleshooting path:

    1. Verify the account and organization being used
      • In Teams, make sure the affected users are signing in with the correct work or school account.
      • If Teams offers multiple accounts or organizations, switch back to the correct company organization.
    2. Test Teams on the web in a private browser session
      • Open Teams on the web in an InPrivate/Incognito window.
      • Sign in explicitly with the company account.
      • This helps determine whether cached credentials in the desktop app or browser are contributing to the issue.
    3. Sign out and clear cached sign-in data
      • Sign out of Teams completely.
      • Close Teams fully.
      • If testing in a browser, sign out of all Microsoft accounts in the browser and clear browser cache/cookies.
    4. Re-authenticate the device account
      • On Windows, open Access work or school.
      • If the business account is listed, disconnect it and reconnect it.
      • If it is not listed, select Connect and add the business account again.
      • This is especially relevant when the same users can access other accounts but not the company account.
    5. Check whether Teams is requesting re-authentication
      • If a Sign in banner appears in Teams, select it and complete all prompts, including MFA if prompted.
      • If the sign-in window does not open, quit and reopen Teams from the notification area.
    6. Keep Teams updated
      • In Teams, select the profile picture, then Check for updates.
    7. Escalate to the IT admin for tenant-side checks
      • The error shown, “You do not have the required permissions to access this org”, can require admin action.
      • The IT admin should check:
        • that affected users are still added to the organization
        • that the correct Teams/Microsoft 365 license is assigned
        • whether any Conditional Access or organization configuration is blocking sign-in
    8. If the issue continues and is spreading across users
      • Collect the exact error text and any status codes shown on the sign-in screen.
      • Create a support request, because Microsoft guidance states that many Teams sign-in issues require IT admin investigation, especially when multiple users are affected.

Given the pattern described, the highest-value next steps are:

    • test with Teams web in InPrivate mode
    • verify users are landing in the correct org
    • have the admin review user membership, license assignment, and Conditional Access/configuration
