For a quick check, go to Settings > System > Sound, select your output device, and turn Audio enhancements off if it is enabled. Then test the sound again.
To help narrow down the issue:
- Does this happen with all sounds and apps, or only with music/video in a specific app?
- Are you using built-in speakers, wired headphones, Bluetooth, or an external monitor/TV?
- Press Win + R, type
