    1

Press the Windows Key + P to open the Projection panel.

Check if the external monitor is working in Extend Mode or Duplicate Mode.

    2

If not, the best option is to go to the support page for your laptop on the manufacturers website to downlaod and manually reinstall (not update) the version of Graphics drivers and Chipset drivers they provide..

If you have any difficulty locating that support page, click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.

    Try this in order:

    1. Press Windows key + P and make sure Extend is selected.
    2. Check that the HDMI cable is fully seated on both the laptop and monitor.
    3. On the monitor, open its on-screen menu and set the input/source to the HDMI port being used.
    4. Disconnect other accessories such as docks, dongles, or adapters, then test the monitor directly from the laptop.
    5. Try a different HDMI cable. If the new cable works, the original cable is faulty.
    6. Test the monitor with a different system, or test the laptop with a different monitor, to isolate whether the issue is with the monitor or the laptop.
    7. If the laptop has more than one video output port, try a different video output port.
    8. Check for Windows updates.
    9. If it still fails, reinstall the display driver:
      • Open Device Manager
      • Expand Display adapters
      • Right-click the display adapter and select Uninstall device
      • Select Attempt to remove the driver for this device and uninstall
      • Restart if prompted
      • Open Device Manager again
      • Expand Display adapters
      • Right-click the adapter and select Update driver
      • Select Search automatically for updated driver software

If the monitor is detected in Windows but still shows no signal, the most common causes in the provided guidance are the wrong monitor input selected, a bad cable, or a connection conflict from an adapter/dock.
