Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi Shari Wallace,
I understand that you cannot access your Shaw email in classic Outlook and have not received new messages since June 8.
Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors cannot retrieve or reset your Shaw email password.
The Q&A Assist answer is correct that the password for pop3.shaw.ca is managed by Shaw rather than Outlook. Have you had a chance to try its recommended steps?
I would also like to add one important check: can you sign in directly to Shaw Webmail using the same email address and view messages received after June 8?
- If Shaw Webmail also rejects the password or shows no new messages, Shaw Support will need to check the mailbox or help reset the password.
- If Shaw Webmail works and contains the missing messages, please share the exact message shown by classic Outlook so the Outlook connection can be investigated further.
Before removing or re-adding this POP account, please back up any locally stored Outlook mail, as some POP messages may exist only on the computer.
I hope this helps narrow down whether the issue is with the Shaw mailbox or the Outlook connection.
