I am Windows 11 (64) fully updated. I have set my laptop for Manual Updates.

Each morning, I go into System and updates -Check for updates.

Most days there is an update for Security Intelligence.

My last one was on 17 August -1.457.198

Each day since then I do the manual check and after the usual searching 'Get "you are up to date"

When I. look on Microsoft Website and search Security Intelligence updates -as at this morning it shows latest version is 1.457.263.

Why am I no longer getting Security Intelligence latest update displayed each day?

    Hi, good day!

It’s understandable to be concerned, especially since you were previously receiving a Security Intelligence update almost every day.

However, the fact that Windows Update now says “You’re up to date” does not necessarily mean Microsoft Defender has stopped receiving updates. Security Intelligence updates can be released several times a day, and not every revision is necessarily displayed as a separate update through Windows Update. The version shown on Microsoft’s website is the latest version available, but it may not be offered to every device at exactly the same time.

Could you please check the version that is actually installed on your laptop?

    1. Open Windows Security.
    2. Select Virus & threat protection.
    3. Under Virus & threat protection updates, click Protection updates. Check the Security intelligence version and Security intelligence update date.
    4. Click Check for updates from there.

Please let me know what Security intelligence version and update date are currently shown

I look forward to your update and am willing to collaborate with you until we resolve the issue. Keep me posted by clicking "Add comment" below.
