Hi,

I try login to outlook.live.com to access my hotmail. However, I don't get an option to type in an email address. My other default email addresses for a work account and personal account are the only options I have.

Any advice please

Cheers

Hi deborah tatham,

I understand that the sign-in page only displays your saved work and personal accounts and does not let you enter the Hotmail address.

Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors cannot access or change your account.

Try opening a private browsing window, then go to Outlook.com and select Sign in. Look for Use another account, then enter the full Hotmail address and its Microsoft account password.

If Use another account is still unavailable, sign out of the currently displayed account, close all browser windows, and retry in the private window. Microsoft also recommends closing all browser windows after signing out. Sign out of Hotmail or Outlook.com

If the page remains unchanged, please share which browser and device you are using and a screenshot with all email addresses hidden.

Cheers

Look for a "Use another account" or "Sign in with a different account" link/option on that login screen — Outlook often shows only recently used accounts by default and hides the option to manually type an email behind that link.

If you don't see that option, try opening the login page in a private/incognito window, this usually resets the account picker and gives you a plain email input box instead of the cached account list.
