Hello,

I'm trying to transfer a license of windows 11 that I have on my old laptop to a new one. The License I have is different from the license I got originally, because I had bought it in 2018 and it was a windows 10 license back then. Now when I try to transfer I get an error no matter what I do. I have tried entering the old license manually, the new license manually and I have tried using the troubleshooter in activation tab window and nothing works. The error I get from the troubleshooter is 0x803fa067 always; it doesn't change over multiple tries.

Is this license just not transferable now if it was upgraded?

Where did you get your Windows licence, did you purchase a full retail Windows licence from Microsoft or from a 3rd party retailer, and if so, do you have the original product key?

2

If you have your original product key, download the free ShowKeyPlus app from the Microsoft Store.

On the left of that app, click 'Check Edition', then enter your product key into that app.

Please provide a screenshot of that app window and please hide your product key in the screenshot.
