Missing Hotmail emails since using Outlook for first time on new computer

I have been using Hotmail online version for over 20 years. I did this deliberately because when I used an App instead of the online I lost my historical online emails. It looks like a 20-year-old problem has never been fixed.

When Hotmail.com.au came online I was able to create an alias email address using my full name. My initial email address was my name and some numbers.

When I got my new Windows 11 laptop and went to use my online email it threw me into Outlook app. I had experienced this before when a friend got a new computer and we could not bypass the Outlook App because Edge browser blocked online access. So I just accepted Outlook when it was FORCED upon me. It all seemed fine, but when I looked at my folder for my alias account I saw new emails but none of the old ones going back 10 years.

Today I resurrected my old computer and used it to access my Hotmail account none of the histrorical emails for my full name alias were displayed.

I have been using MS-DOS since 1.25, Windows since 1.1 when I reviewed it comparing it with Gem from digital research, I toured with Microsoft as a user of MultiMedia Windows when it was launched. I am 74 years old.

There should be nothing from stopping you from accessing your hotmail.com email account "on-line" on your new PC.

If you click on this link https://outlook.cloud.microsoft/ , and logon to your account, do you see your hotmail.com emails in your browser?

but when I looked at my folder for my alias account I saw new emails but none of the old ones going back 10 years

Need to determine if you actually have two aliases that point to the same account, or if you actually have two separate accounts?

If you open this link https://account.live.com/names/manage and logon, do you see your alias listed? e.g. I have a three aliases for my account.
