Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi Mette Dobel,
The issue is likely with Outlook's connection to the Google calendar rather than the calendar itself. The fact that the calendar is still available on your phone confirms that the calendar has not been deleted.
Please try the following:
- Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings and confirm that your Gmail account is still listed.
- If the account is present, remove the Gmail account from Outlook and add it back again. This refreshes the Google account connection that Outlook uses for calendars and contacts.
- Restart Outlook and check whether the calendar reappears under My Calendars or Other Calendars.
- If the calendar is still missing, create a new Outlook profile:
- Close Outlook.
- Open Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles.
- Select Add and create a new profile.
- Add your Gmail account and test whether the calendar appears.
- You can also reset Outlook's Navigation Pane, as corruption there can sometimes cause folders and calendars to disappear:
outlook.exe /resetnavpane
