Hi Team,l

ooking forward for a support for exam voucher assigned to me which I redeemed before 18th august for my SC-100 exam.

unfortunately I had to cancel it due to time contraint and also pearson was not allowing me to extend it. when I read the terms/condition I came to know that I can extend my exam beyond october 2026.

This is the terms and condition which I received in email:

eem your exam voucher online, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Microsoft Credentials page.
  2. Select a Microsoft Certification.
  3. On the certification page, scroll down to the “Schedule exam” button, making sure to choose to schedule through Pearson VUE.
  4. Follow the Pearson VUE options and scheduling prompts. You must schedule your exam prior to August 18, 2026 and the exam must be delivered by October 18, 2026. If the exam is not booked prior to August 18, 2026 and an exam date beyond October 18, 2026 is selected, you will not be able to apply the voucher to the cost of the exam.
  5. Proceed to check out and apply the voucher code provided to book with your 100% discount!

    No Extensions Past October: The policy explicitly states that if an exam date beyond October 18, 2026, is selected, "you will not be able to apply the voucher to the cost of the exam." The terms do not allow for extensions beyond October.

    The Scheduling Deadline: The terms require that the exam be scheduled prior to August 18, 2026.

    The Cancellation Impact: While you successfully redeemed the voucher before August 18, canceling that appointment means you must schedule a new exam to use the voucher again. Because the August 18 scheduling deadline has now passed, the system will no longer allow the voucher to be applied to a new booking.

    Standard Microsoft policy dictates that exam vouchers cannot be extended beyond their official expiration dates.

    Hope you understand my question correctly, I redeemed my voucher before 18th august and I'm tried to reschedule it beyond 23rd august and as per the condition of voucher it says it can be extended till october 18 2026. but for my surprise it is not and unfortunately I had to cancel the exam rather no showup ,due to some reason I was not ready to give the exam on 23rd so decided to extend it in september 10 which falls in the boundry of limit/condition of this voucher.

    so just want to confirm if microsoft certification team can help.
