Hi,

I am trying to upgrade my Windows 10 PC to Windows 11, but the upgrade has repeatedly failed. I have tried the upgrade multiple times and it consistently fails/rolls back.

My current OS is:

Windows 10 22H2

Build 19045.6466

64-bit x64 system

UEFI boot mode

Secure Boot: On

Windows Update previously reported that my PC meets the minimum requirements for Windows 11.

What I keep getting met with is this message, "Undoing changes made to your computer" and I'm back to windows 10.

Interestingly, after the rollback, I briefly received a boot menu asking me to choose between:

Windows 10

Windows 11

The Windows 10 entry had the normal Windows logo, while the Windows 11 entry did not appear to have the same logo.

I would really like help determining the actual cause of the upgrade failure rather than continuing to make changes blindly.

I am currently back in Windows 10 and it is functioning normally. I would prefer not to perform a clean installation or factory reset unless it is actually necessary.

Hi ,

If possible, you can check if you have this log file and upload it

C:$Windows.~BT\Sources\panther\setupact.log

Search for msinfo32.exe in the search bar, take a screenshot, and post it here so we can see the correct laptop model or desktop configuration.

Thanks
