    Hi!

Since you are unable to unlink your account, try reinstalling OneDrive:

    1. Open Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Find Microsoft OneDrive > Click the ●●● > Uninstall.
    2. Restart your computer.
    3. Download and install OneDrive https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/onedrive/download
    4. Relink your account to OneDrive.

I don't see how I can unlink One Drive when I cannot open the OneDrive app. I cannot get past the message "There was a problem signing you in. Please try again in a few minutes. (Error Code: 0x8004de80)"

For error 0x8004de80 in OneDrive, the documented fixes are:

    1. Unlink and relink the correct OneDrive account
      • If an old or different account was added to OneDrive, unlink it and relink the correct account.
      • If OneDrive is running, open the OneDrive icon in the taskbar notification area, go to Help & Settings > Settings > Account, and confirm the expected account is being used.
    2. Uninstall and reinstall OneDrive
      • Microsoft states that resetting or uninstalling OneDrive does not delete data.
      • In Windows, select the Windows key, type Programs, and open Add or remove programs.
      • Under Apps & features, select Microsoft OneDrive > Uninstall.
      • Download the OneDrive app and install it again.
      • Then sign in and complete setup.
    3. Clear multiple cached identities
      • This error can be caused by identity problems between multiple accounts.
      • Remove cached Office account identities from the registry.
      • Warning: registry changes are risky. Incorrect edits can affect sign-in and Windows configuration.

If the issue is specifically with a personal account after a restart or account switching, the supported cause is usually either:

    • a OneDrive account/configuration problem, or
    • multiple cached identities.
