Connects the specified technology to its tag on a thread-pool thread.

A task that represents the call to Connect().
Remarks
This managed extension uses Task.Run to call Connect(). Await the task before starting tag I/O. Only one technology can be connected to a tag at a time. Call Close() when I/O is complete.
The method has no cancellation-token parameter. Calling Close() from another thread cancels a blocked connection call with IOException; this is not task cancellation through a token.
