Starts a new ZIP entry as a task and positions the stream for its data.
public System.Threading.Tasks.Task PutNextEntryAsync(Java.Util.Zip.ZipEntry? e);
member this.PutNextEntryAsync : Java.Util.Zip.ZipEntry -> System.Threading.Tasks.Task
Parameters
- e
- ZipEntry
The ZIP entry to start writing.
Returns
A task that completes when the entry header has been written and the stream is ready for the entry data.
Remarks
This .NET wrapper uses Task.Run to call PutNextEntry(ZipEntry). It does not use a native asynchronous operation.
The call closes any active entry. If the new entry has no compression method, the stream's default method is used. If it has no modification time, the current time is used. It does not write the entry data or finish the archive.
Wait for the task to complete before writing entry data or using this stream again. Exceptions from the synchronous call, including ZIP format and output errors, are reported through the task.
