Constructors

Name Description
AbstractClientConnAdapter(IClientConnectionManager, IOperatedClientConnection)

Creates a connection adapter that is initially not marked as reusable.

AbstractClientConnAdapter(IntPtr, JniHandleOwnership)

Creates a managed instance that represents an existing Java object.

Properties

Name Description
Class

Returns the runtime class of this Object.

(Inherited from Object)
Handle

The handle to the underlying Android instance.

(Inherited from Object)
IsMarkedReusable

Gets whether this connection is marked as being in a reusable communication state.

IsOpen

Gets whether the wrapped connection is open.

IsSecure

Gets whether the wrapped connection is considered secure.

IsStale

Gets whether the connection is aborted, detached, or reported as stale by the wrapped connection.

JniIdentityHashCode

Gets the identity hash code assigned to this Java peer by the interop runtime.

(Inherited from Object)
JniManagedPeerState (Inherited from JavaObject)
JniPeerMembers

Gets the JNI metadata used to access members of this Java binding.

LocalAddress

Gets the local address from the wrapped connection.

LocalPort

Gets the local port from the wrapped connection.

Manager

Gets the manager to which connection release is delegated.

Metrics

Gets the communication metrics from the wrapped connection.

PeerReference

Gets the JNI object reference for this Java peer.

(Inherited from Object)
RemoteAddress

Gets the remote address from the wrapped connection.

RemotePort

Gets the remote port from the wrapped connection.

Route

Gets the route established so far for this connection.

SocketTimeout

Gets or sets the socket timeout through the wrapped connection.

SSLSession

Gets the SSL session from the wrapped connection's socket, if it is open and uses an SSL socket. This operation can block.

State

Gets or sets the state object associated with this connection.

ThresholdClass

Gets the Java class used for virtual method dispatch.

ThresholdType

Gets the managed type that declares this Java binding.

WrappedConnection

Gets the connection to which communication operations are delegated.

Methods

Name Description
AbortConnection()

Marks the connection as aborted and not reusable, then attempts to shut it down. Releases it to the manager immediately only when called on the thread that created this adapter.

AssertNotAborted()

Throws InterruptedIOException if this connection has been aborted.

AssertValid(IOperatedClientConnection)

Throws IllegalStateException if the supplied wrapped connection is null. This check does not test the aborted flag.

Clone()

Creates and returns a copy of this object.

(Inherited from Object)
Close()

Closes this connection gracefully, attempting to flush buffered output before closing the socket.

Construct(JniObjectReference, JniObjectReferenceOptions) (Inherited from JavaObject)
Detach()

Removes the references to the wrapped connection and its manager, so this adapter can no longer be used for communication.

Dispose()

Releases the resources held by this Java peer.

(Inherited from Object)
Dispose(Boolean)

Releases the resources held by this Java peer.

(Inherited from Object)
DisposeUnlessReferenced() (Inherited from JavaObject)
Equals(Object) (Inherited from JavaObject)
Equals(Object)

Indicates whether some other object is "equal to" this one.

(Inherited from Object)
Flush()

Writes pending buffered output through the wrapped connection after checking that the adapter is not aborted or detached.

GetHashCode()

Returns a hash code value for the object.

(Inherited from Object)
IsResponseAvailable(Int32)

Checks whether response data is available through the wrapped connection.

JavaFinalize()
Obsolete.

Called by the garbage collector on an object when garbage collection determines that there are no more references to the object.

(Inherited from Object)
LayerProtocol(IHttpContext, IHttpParams)

Adds a protocol layer, typically TLS/SSL, over an established tunnel. This does not by itself guarantee that the connection is considered secure.

MarkReusable()

Marks this connection as being in a reusable communication state. Send and receive operations clear this mark; the mark does not guarantee reuse.

Notify()

Wakes up a single thread that is waiting on this object's monitor.

(Inherited from Object)
NotifyAll()

Wakes up all threads that are waiting on this object's monitor.

(Inherited from Object)
Open(HttpRoute, IHttpContext, IHttpParams)

Opens this connection along the supplied route.

OpenAsync(HttpRoute, IHttpContext, IHttpParams)

Runs Open(HttpRoute, IHttpContext, IHttpParams) through Task scheduling.

ReceiveResponseEntity(IHttpResponse)

Clears the reuse marker and receives a response entity through the wrapped connection.

ReceiveResponseHeader()

Clears the reuse marker and receives the next response status line and headers through the wrapped connection.

ReleaseConnection()

Releases this connection to its manager with the configured idle duration. Does nothing if no manager is attached.

SendRequestEntity(IHttpEntityEnclosingRequest)

Clears the reuse marker and sends the request entity through the wrapped connection.

SendRequestHeader(IHttpRequest)

Clears the reuse marker and sends the request line and headers through the wrapped connection.

SetHandle(IntPtr, JniHandleOwnership)

Sets the Handle property.

(Inherited from Object)
SetIdleDuration(Int64, TimeUnit)

Sets the idle duration passed to the manager on release, converting positive durations to milliseconds. Reset this duration after each request.

SetPeerReference(JniObjectReference, JniObjectReferenceOptions) (Inherited from JavaObject)
Shutdown()

Forces the connection to close without first flushing buffered output. Unlike graceful close, this operation can terminate the connection from another thread.

ToArray<T>()

Creates a managed array from this Java array wrapper.

(Inherited from Object)
ToString()

Returns a string representation of the object.

(Inherited from Object)
TunnelProxy(HttpHost, Boolean, IHttpParams)

Records a tunnel already established to the next proxy. This method does not send the CONNECT request.

TunnelTarget(Boolean, IHttpParams)

Records an established tunnel to the target. This method does not send CONNECT or add a TLS/SSL layer.

UnmarkReusable()

Clears the reuse marker so that releasing this connection does not permit its reuse.

UnregisterFromRuntime()

Unregisters this Java peer from the interop runtime.

(Inherited from Object)
Wait()

Causes the current thread to wait until it is awakened, typically by being <em>notified</em> or <em>interrupted</em>.

(Inherited from Object)
Wait(Int64, Int32)

Causes the current thread to wait until it is awakened, typically by being <em>notified</em> or <em>interrupted</em>, or until a certain amount of real time has elapsed.

(Inherited from Object)
Wait(Int64)

Causes the current thread to wait until it is awakened, typically by being <em>notified</em> or <em>interrupted</em>, or until a certain amount of real time has elapsed.

(Inherited from Object)
