Microsoft Viva Glint offers two methods to add your employee data to the platform. Viva Glint refers to these data as "attributes." Attributes are data about the people in your organization, which are then used to convert feedback into insightful and action-oriented intelligence to improve employee engagement and achieve business goals. Select the best upload method for your organization based on the following information.
Upload employee data to the People page: Upload employee data directly in the Viva Glint platform on the People page. The import function allows you to quickly modify employee records in bulk and add new users.
Import employee data with Microsoft 365 Organizational Data Service: Use Microsoft 365 Organizational Data Service to centrally import, manage, and share employee data across Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Viva experiences, including Viva Glint. Data can be imported through automated connectors such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADLS, and APIs, or through manual .csv uploads.
