O seguinte exemplo de código foi concebido para uso com Windows Forms e requer PaintEventArgse, um objeto de evento Paint. O código executa as seguintes ações:
Cria uma matriz de escala.
Lista os elementos da matriz no ecrã.
Reinicia a matriz para identidade.
Lista os elementos no ecrã.
Traduz a matriz por 50 pontos no eixo x e 40 pontos no eixo y.
Lista os elementos da matriz traduzida para o ecrã.
Desenha-se um retângulo para o ecrã antes de aplicar a transformação matricial (o retângulo azul).
Aplica a transformação ao retângulo.
Desenha o retângulo transformado que é desenhado para o ecrã (o retângulo vermelho), usando as mesmas coordenadas do retângulo anterior.
Repare que o retângulo vermelho não foi escalado (devido ao reset), mas sim translado no eixo x e eixo y.
