Persistindo objetos personalizados

Não precisa de implementar persistência personalizada para os objetos personalizados que cria, desde que as suas propriedades usem apenas tipos de dados simples como inteiro e string. A implementação padrão da persistência guarda os metadados do seu objeto juntamente com os valores de todas as suas propriedades.

No entanto, se o seu objeto tiver propriedades que usam tipos de dados complexos, ou se quiser realizar processamento personalizado dos valores das propriedades à medida que são carregados e guardados, pode implementar a IDTSComponentPersist interface e os métodos its LoadFromXML and (its and SaveToXML methods). Nestes métodos, carrega-se (ou guarda-se) da definição XML do pacote um fragmento XML que contém as propriedades do seu objeto e os seus valores atuais. O formato deste fragmento XML não está definido; deve ser apenas XML bem formado.

Importante

Quando implementas persistência personalizada, tens de persistir todas as propriedades do objeto, incluindo tanto as propriedades herdadas como as propriedades personalizadas que adicionaste.
