此旗標用於告訴底層文字排版引擎該文字是垂直方向。 啟用此旗標後，文字測量、繪圖與形狀 API 可用於直排文字佈局。 例如，從 Canvas#drawText(String, float, float, Paint) 上到下繪製文字。 Paint#measureText(String) 回傳垂直前進而非水平前進。 TextRunShaper 垂直形狀文字並回報垂直版面的字形 ID。

不要設定這個旗幟來製作 android.text.Layout。 這個 android.text.Layout 類別及其子類別僅設計用於橫向文字，無法用於垂直文字。
