切換失敗原因會被回傳，因為 #onHandoverFailed(Call, int) 要切換通話的應用程式拒絕了切換請求。

當 Call#handoverTo(PhoneAccountHandle, int, Bundle) 被呼叫時 將返回 ，而目的 PhoneAccountHandle的 從 ConnectionService 回傳 a nullConnection 。ConnectionService#onCreateOutgoingHandoverConnection(PhoneAccountHandle, ConnectionRequest)
