No changes to the device. Bitlocker now needs a recovery key. the Recovery Key ID does not match the device in either Entra or the personal account. and the Recovery Keys (for 10 devices I have registered, none have recovery keys?

Log into account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey — make sure you're using every Microsoft account the device may have ever been signed into, not just the current one

Check if a different Microsoft account (an old one, a work one) was used when BitLocker first activated.

Ask your IT admin to check Entra ID → Devices → [Device] → BitLocker Keys — not just the device list,

If the Recovery Key ID doesn’t match anything you can access, and you’ve checked all accounts and backups, then realistically the data is unrecoverable.
