Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi, Sarah Cooperson
The payment may be linked to a different Microsoft account, or the subscription may have been purchased through Apple, Google, Amazon, or another retailer. A bank charge alone does not identify which account owns the subscription.
Here are some suggestions you can try:
Sign in to Microsoft order history, change the date range to include February 2026, and look for the $140.39 charge. If you have other email addresses, check each Microsoft account. Order history only displays purchases for the account currently signed in.
Using the account where the order appears, check Services & subscriptions. If Microsoft 365 is listed there, that is the account you must use to activate the Office apps.
Check the bank statement or receipt to identify the seller. Subscriptions purchased through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, or another retailer must be managed through that provider, not through the Microsoft billing page.
If the charge came directly from Microsoft but does not appear under any account, contact Microsoft Support. Provide the payment date, amount, receipt, and last four digits of the card privately. Do not post those details on the forum. Support can investigate the billing record, while forum members cannot access account or payment information.
Please be advised that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, are not allowed to directly interfere with Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited solely to providing technical guidance on reported incidents, requests, or ideas.
Thank you for your patience in reading, I hope this information has been helpful to you.
