Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi, Bill Low
This usually happens when the payment details do not exactly match the bank’s records, the card is being declined, or the renewal is being attempted under the wrong Microsoft account.
Here are some suggestions you can try:
Sign in to Services & subscriptions and confirm that Microsoft 365 appears under that account. If you have multiple email addresses, try the one used for the original purchase.
Open Payment options, select View or edit card, and re-enter the cardholder name, billing address, ZIP code, expiration date, and CVV exactly as shown on your bank statement.
If the information is already correct, remove and add the payment method again, or select Manage > Change how you pay and try another card.
Retry in an InPrivate or Incognito browser window, with any VPN or browser extensions temporarily disabled.
If it still fails, contact your bank to check whether the transaction is being blocked, then contact Microsoft Support if the bank confirms there is no restriction.
