Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi, Ian Duncan
This likely means there are two separate subscriptions, possibly under different Microsoft accounts. Since forum users cannot access billing details, the subscriptions need to be identified before one is canceled.
Here are some suggestions you can try:
Sign in to Services & subscriptions with each Microsoft email address you may have used. Check the subscription name, next charge date, and renewal status. The account showing the active Microsoft 365 subscription should be the one providing the 1 TB storage.
On the subscription due to renew in three days, select Manage, then Turn off recurring billing. You can continue using it until its expiration date, but it will not charge you again. If you see Turn on recurring billing, renewal is already disabled.
Do not cancel the subscription providing your 1 TB storage. Canceling it can reduce the account’s cloud storage allowance to 5 GB.
If the payment made six months ago does not appear under either account, check whether it was purchased through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, or another retailer. Those subscriptions must be managed through that provider.
If a new payment has already been taken, cancel that subscription to check whether it qualifies for a refund.
Thank you for your patience in reading, I hope this information has been helpful to you.
