Hi team,

We have an Azure Subscription Developer Support subscription, which we recently cancelled. We'd like to double-confirm with Microsoft that the service is fully cancelled and that no further invoices will be generated.

I haven't been able to reach a Microsoft agent at all — the support request page just loops without letting me actually submit a request. Could you please help me with this?

Thanks, Faris

For an Azure Developer Support plan, cancellation stops auto-renewal when the plan expires. It does not produce a prorated refund, and billing continues for the rest of the current month.

To verify and manage the support plan in the Azure portal:

    1. Go to Cost Management + Billing.
    2. Open All Billing Subscription or Your subscriptions.
    3. Select the support plan to open its details.
    4. Confirm that Cancel was completed and that auto-renewal is Off.

If the portal is looping and not letting the support request submit, the documented path is to create another support request for help managing the original issue. A working path reported in resolved cases is:

    1. In the Azure portal, open Help + Support.
    2. Select Create a support request.
    3. Search for Billing and select Billing.
    4. Select the affected subscription and choose Next.
    5. When recommendations or suggested solutions appear, select Create a support request instead of opening the suggested articles.
    6. If the page loops again and shows more recommendations, select Return to support request.
    7. Continue to Additional details, complete the form, and submit.

This is the correct route to ask Microsoft to confirm the support plan status and whether any further invoices will be generated.

    Important billing points:

    • If the support plan was canceled, billing still applies for the remainder of the month.
    • Canceling an Azure Support plan does not provide a prorated refund.
    • After cancellation of a final subscription, the billing cycle can close within up to 72 hours, so final billing information might not appear the same day.
