I just wanted to know if anyone could go into my email by using some sort of recovery sign in if they had my personal information

Microsoft Support doesn’t have access to your account or security details. They will likely recommend that you try the Account Recovery Form and Sign-in Helper tool if you haven’t already.

Can you tell me a little more about the situation? Are you concerned that someone is trying to recover or gain access to your account using your personal information?

Well some close to me was having trouble signing into their email account and asked if they could use my email address for the recovery code to be sent to, so I just want to know if they are using the code to sign in to their email or mine

If you see anything unfamiliar, select it and use the available option to secure your account.

Do you see any successful sign-ins from a device or location that you do not recognize?

For the fastest path:

Describe the issue.
Follow the prompts to get self-help, chat, or request a call back.
