    Hi

this usually happens when there are two Microsoft 365 subscriptions on the same Microsoft account or another Microsoft account using the same payment method.

Please check your subscriptions here: https://account.microsoft.com/services

Also check your order history: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

If you cannot find where the second charge comes from, use Microsoft's billing investigation tool: https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/i-ve-been-charged-twice-1370f860-c080-419a-8e77-a983389743a5

After confirming the duplicate subscription, cancel the extra one and request a refund: https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/how-to-get-a-refund-on-a-microsoft-subscription-67dca30b-b323-44d5-acc2-e02f9902c472

Check for two active subscriptions first:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft account services page and see whether both a monthly and yearly Microsoft 365 subscription are listed.
    2. Also review your order history for multiple purchases of the same amount close together.
    3. If order history shows only one charge, go to Payment options and select Investigate to check whether another Microsoft account is using the same card.

Common causes called out by Microsoft:

    • recurring billing on a subscription
    • a previously declined charge being charged again
    • another account or family member using the same payment method
    • multiple subscription periods being purchased

If the extra subscription appears in Services, select the subscription that is not needed and cancel it.

If the duplicate billing still cannot be identified, contact Microsoft Support through the online support flow:

    • Go to Contact Microsoft Support.
    • Enter the problem and select Get Help.
    • If needed, select Contact Support to reach the best support option.

For phone support, Microsoft says the current support phone number varies by country/region and should be taken from the global phone numbers list. For Microsoft 365 for business, billing phone support is generally available in English from 9 AM–5 PM Monday through Friday, but for a home subscription the support site is the primary path provided here.

If the charge is fraudulent or the card may be compromised, contact the bank or payment provider immediately to prevent more charges.
