Just opened Microsoft Whiteboard app after a while and saw this message saying it’s going to retire 😭

I’ve used this app so much over the period of time. Is it actually going to become paid, or is something else happening?

    Yes, unfortunately Microsoft is retiring Whiteboard for personal accounts. After September 22, 2026, editing requires an eligible Microsoft 365 Business account. Personal users can view and export existing boards until October 16, so please export anything important before then.
