Parameters

destinationAddress: InetAddress

The destination for traffic that bears the SPI. For inbound traffic, the address must currently be assigned on the device.

Returns

IpSecManager.SecurityParameterIndex

The reserved SPI, which remains available until it is closed.

Exceptions

IpSecManager.ResourceUnavailableException

Thrown when too many SPIs are allocated for the user.
