パッケージをXMLとしてハードドライブに保存したい場合は、 Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.Application.SaveToXml メソッドを使います。 パッケージをファイルシステムに保存したい場合は Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.Application.SaveToDtsServerを使います。 パッケージをMSDBデータベースに保存したい場合は、 Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.Application.SaveToSqlServer メソッドや Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.Application.SaveToSqlServerAs メソッドを使ってください。 Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.Application.SaveToXml上のApplicationメソッドを呼び出すと、ランタイムはパッケージに含まれるタスク、接続マネージャー、ログプロバイダー、その他すべてのオブジェクトを順次処理し、それぞれのSaveToXMLメソッドを呼び出します。 含まれるオブジェクトの SaveToXML には、保存すべき各プロパティに対してXmlElementと、その要素の値を生成するコードが含まれています。 パッケージにはXmlDocumentが含まれ、オブジェクトはそれぞれの要素をパッケージのXmlDocumentに付加します。 したがって、個々のオブジェクトの SaveToXML を直接呼び出すのではなく、 Application オブジェクトのメソッドを呼び出すと、ランタイムがパッケージオブジェクトをカスケードしてその SaveToXML を呼び出します。
