Parameters

recognizerIntent
Intent

The intent describing the recognition request to evaluate.

attributionSource
AttributionSource

The attribution source for the calling application.

supportCallback
RecognitionService.SupportCallback

The callback that receives support or error results.

Attributes

Remarks

Checks whether the service can start recognition with recognizerIntent.

Reports the support level or an error through supportCallback.

Uses attributionSource to attribute permission and bandwidth use to the caller.

By default, delegates to OnCheckRecognitionSupport(Intent, SupportCallback), which reports SpeechRecognizer.ErrorCannotCheckSupport. Override that overload to handle support checks from both entry points.
