在每次報表執行時，會建立一個實作 ICustomReportItem 類別的實例，該實例包含對應 CustomReportItem 型別的任何實例。 對於報告中出現的每個匹配型態的 實 CustomReportItem 例， CustomItem 都被設定，然後 Process 被呼叫。 由於報表伺服器是多執行緒的，實作 ICustomReportItem 的類別應避免使用靜態成員變數。

若在建立類別時發生故障，則不會安裝自訂報告項目類別。 任何其他失敗都會導致整個報告執行失敗。
